ABOUT SCENTS SAN DIEGO
Scents San Diego started in 2020 during the COVID-19 Quarantine as a passion project to learn more about the history of San Diego and its diverse neighborhoods. I thought to myself, what better way to take the unique communities of San Diego home with you than through a custom-scented candle. Whether you are local, here for a short stay, or just missing home, Scents San Diego is here for you!
At Scents San Diego we bring a high quality candle store to the San Diego area. I make all items myself, pouring, labeling, and packaging the candles by hand in reusable tins. The candles are made with an all-natural soy wax that burns slower than paraffin wax and delivers a cleaner burn, safe for asthmatics. All our room sprays are hand-poured in San Diego, CA using natural ingredients including distilled water, witch hazel, and custom fragrance oils to deliver a long-lasting, great-smelling scented spray. Our products are also cruelty-free, non-toxic and contain no lead, plastics, paraben, phthalates or synthetic dyes.
THE CANDLEMAKER
My name is Jenna and I am the one lucky enough to be hand pouring all of your Scents San Diego Candles and Room Sprays.
I am a San Diego girl, born and raised. I grew up in Oceanside until my parents moved us when I was 5 to Carlsbad, where they still live today. I was lucky enough to go to high school in Del Mar and swim competitively in La Jolla during my teenage years. After a brief stint in Chicago for college, I found myself missing my family, the weather, and the beaches. I moved back in 2017 and promised to never take for granted how wonderful San Diego is again.
Since then, I have lived, worked and played across San Diego County in La Jolla, Downtown, Convoy, Bankers Hill, Barrio Logan, National City, Kearney Mesa, North Park and more! In 2021, I set down roots with my (now) husbands and am a homeowner in the incredible neighborhood of Normal Heights.
There is still so much more to explore within our amazing city. It is my hope that with Scents San Diego, we can learn together!
